Gary Lane Allen II - Nesbit Living and Recovery Center Administrator

A resident of New Braunfels, Texas, Gary Lane Allen II has worked in health care administration since 1996. Gary Lane Allen II currently serves as an administrator for Nesbit Living and Recovery Center, a senior living care provider and subsidiary of Trinity Healthcare.

Mr. Allen began with Nesbit Living and Recovery Center in 2023. He manages daily operations, ensuring that the center complies with local, state, and federal regulations. He coordinates and leads clinical, managerial, and custodial teams, and also oversees the hiring of staff members across the organization.

When it comes to resident care, Mr. Allen coordinates with clinical staff members to make sure that resident care directives are followed. Additionally, he routinely trains staff members in safety and compliance mandates, maintains the budget, and is in charge of billing and setting fees.

Mr. Allen also serves as the face of the organization, representing it before the governing board, the public, and residents’ families. He also acts as a liaison between staff members and families.

Throughout his career in senior care, he has become skilled at navigating the clinical and business facets of managing acute care and nursing organizations. His other areas of expertise include assisted living care and Alzheimer’s and memory care. His experience and training include a bachelor’s degree in business and an MBA, both from Southwest Texas State.

In addition to his role at Nesbit Living and Recovery Center, Mr. Allen is a member of the American Health Care Association and the Texas Health Care Association. He is also a Lion’s Club member. In his personal time, he enjoys swimming and kick boxing.
